MIPIM 2016 was held in Cannes from 15 to 18 March 2016 and opened to renewed optimism about global real estate investment opportunities. Africa and Japan are just two examples of promising territories, as this first daily video reveals; as, of course, is France.
Global Investment Opportunities
Economy Minister Emmanuel Macron was in Cannes, with a simple message: “France is back!” Or, in other words, investors should come back to MIPIM’s host country.
“This MIPIM is about innovation. It’s the best place to seal partnerships, imagine the future, and defend the planet, as environmental issues are very present here,” according to Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris, speaking in Cannes yesterday.
The City of Amsterdam’s Pierre Van Rossum also singled out MIPIM as an interesting opportunity to “hear from each other, learn from each other and help each other.”
